“The Gedi team is made up of passionate educators who are dedicated to developing an inspiring, safe, empathic, and empowering community of kids and their families .”
Ashley Baylen
“I’ve been fortunate to work with Camp Gedi since our first summer in 2024. It’s been so special to watch this project grow from a small, committed team into an expansive, thriving community.
Every summer, I’ve seen campers make huge strides over the course of a session. They overcome fears, make new friendships, learn new things, and grow confidence in their social-emotional and communication skills.
Gedi has impacted me as an educator because now I really see that I can make a difference. What makes Gedi stand out from other learning environments is how it empowers children to be leaders in their communities and in their own lives. When kids are asked what they want to make happen, versus being told what to do, the results are so much more creative — it feels magical.”
— Gus, Camp Gedi educator
